Nathan was raised in the small town of Wellington, Colorado. In junior high God would use a youth pastor there to first introduce Nathan to Christ and create in him a heart for ministry. So after graduating high school, playing drums in Nashville, getting married to Kelly Mitchell, and obtaining a history degree from Colorado State University, Nathan set out for Louisville, Kentucky to pursue his Master’s of Divinity at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. There God continued to grow his passion for teaching the Word to the Church.

After graduating seminary the Lord brought Nathan and Kelly to North Iowa where Nathan served as a youth pastor then worship director, and now Nathan serves as a lead preaching pastor in Laramie, Wyoming.

In God’s kindness Nathan and Kelly have three energetic boys, Jaden, Luke, and Ryan, and one feisty little red head girl, Emily! As a family they like to go on hikes, read stories, collect toys, watch movies, visit family, build cosplay, and go on bike rides.  Above all, the Hawley family seeks to glorify the Lord in all that they do!
